Friends, I invite you onto the journey of Holy Week, starting with Palm Sunday this Sunday.

Holy Week is weird. We do weird things.
It’s partly reenactment …
partly ritual …
partly a party …  
… partly just sitting … just being … quietly.

It’s awful. And it’s gorgeous. And it’s not just going to extra church.

It’s taking a step further in. It’s like stepping into the edge of the dark sea. It’s stepping closer to the deep mysteries of what life is about, why are we here, what makes all the heartbreak and struggle of life worth it?

This Sunday, after the Palm Sunday service, I’ll give you a tour of the symbols, theology, and weird things of Holy Week. I hope you’ll stick around, even if you know you can’t make all or any of the Holy Week services this year.
