The World’s Great Hunger

Last Sunday, I introduced Frederick Buechner’s idea of how to listen for God’s calling: where your deep gladness and the world’s great hunger meet. Last week, we explored what it means to listen for our deep gladness. Big thanks again to Annette Baez, Sarah Kettlewell, Melissa Orsi, and Rafael Orsi for modeling that kind of listening. This week, we talk about listening for the world’s great hunger. To do that, I thought it was best to listen to our future: our panel this week will be members of our youth, Emily Calub, Myha Francis, and Anne Regalado. We will hear from them about what they think are the biggest challenges facing our world, and what we should be paying attention to that we’re not.
