Max was ordained in Oct. 2020. She holds a Master in Religion from Yale Divinity School, and an M.Phil from Trinity College Dublin where she studied Peace, Reconciliation and Forgiveness in Belfast, Northern Ireland. 

She has taught extensively lectured often and presented papers at the 1999 Parliament of World Religions, Cape Town, S.A and at the Belfast Public Seminar Series in 2011. 

Max founded and directed Ethical Cartography: charts and maps for moral discourseTM and produced a brand-new product: Maximize the Moment TM: questions for lively conversation. Currently she divides her time between being a Deacon at St Gregory’s Episcopal Church, Deerfield and at Church of The Holy Spirit, Lake Forest.

Max has 3 children, 1 son-in-law, 3 grandchildren and 3 grand-pets.
