Sing God’s praises
An excerpt from Isaiah 42:10 (NRSV)
Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise from the end of the earth!
Let the sea roar and all that fills it, the coastlands and their inhabitants.
Reflection from Leigh Stewart:
Singing lifts my heart, whether I am singing alone or with others. Our beloved music director, Kathryn, once told me that when we sing with other people not only does our breathing entrain with the others, but our heartbeats also entrain with theirs. So our breaths and hearts have the same rhythm. And when we sing together to the Lord, praising Him, with our breaths and hearts in sync, we become truly one body in Christ.
