Community Meals Feb. 14

St. Gregory's has been participating in Community Meals for many years.  We prepare, cook, and serve meals for those in need in the community.  The Youth Group is signed up to participate on Feb. 14, and this will be a good opportunity for us to follow Christ in feeding the hungry.  So make sure to mark the date for this event!

What are Adventure Trips?

Our Adventure Trips go through Christian Adventures and they are designed for our Sr. High Youth Group to grow together as a team and individually through a faith based adventure experience.  The adventures we participate in are both fun and challenging, with the purposes of our group working together as we experience the wonders of God's beautiful world.

What is St. Gregory's Adventure Trip for 2016?

Our headquarters will be the Christian Adventures base camp located in Rodney Michigan, which is right next to the Manistee National Forest.  We will have several different opportunities for fun group experiences, but our main adventures will consist of:

Kayaking/canoeing, biking, horse-back riding, rock climbing and teams courses, hiking, and a day trip into the harbor town of Ludington, which oversees Lake Michigan.

We will also have many opportunities for site-seeing and group recreation.

As in all our Adventure Trips, we will be sleeping in tents, which is part of the adventure experience.  The Christian Adventures Headquarters is equipped with amenities such as restroom facilities and showers, and many recreational options such as swimming and a game room.  Meals will be provided for us throughout the week.

he cost per student is $200, and the Youth Commission will pay the rest.
