Prayer Blanket Ministry

• Originally begun by members of Daughters of the King, a group of women in the parish provide small hand-sewn lap quilts/blankets to be distributed to the very ill, hospitalized, and shut-ins. Volunteers tie prayer knots into each blanket as they pray for the healing of the recipient.

Family Support Ministry

• Volunteers prepare and deliver meals to parishioners in emergencies, such as illness, birth of a child, death in the family, etc. Occasionally the group is asked to provide car pooling to doctors and babysitting. The Missions Board helps this ministry maintain funds to provide confidential emergency financial help.

Prayer Chain

• An ongoing prayer chain of about twenty members of St. Gregory’s Church pray for the special needs of those brought before them.  Those on our extended prayer list are also prayed for with special intentions every Wednesday morning at our service of Holy Eucharist and the Sacrament of Healing.

Stephen Ministry

•  A group of St. Gregory's parishioners have been trained to provide pastoral care to any member of the parish through one-to-one caring relationships
