GIVE A FEW HOURS TO SERVE CHRIST IN OTHERS – THIS SUNDAY AND MONDAY

St. Gregory’s intentionally participates in Community Meals in Waukegan, and in PADS breakfasts at First Pres, Deerfield so that we can meet, talk with, and serve our brothers and sisters in need in our area. God meets us in our need, and in return, we meet others in theirs. This Sunday, November 12th (we meet at 12 noon and are finished by 3:30 pm), join us to serve a hot meal at the Waukegan Community Meals program. Contact Barb Schaper to sign up (bschaper7@aol.com).

This Monday (meet at 5am, done by 7am), we are invited to join the First Pres volunteers in helping with serving a warm breakfast to homeless individuals and families spending the night in their shelter. Contact Mother Anne to sign up (anne@stgregoryschurch.org).

No skills necessary for either opportunity, just willingness to love your neighbor as yourself!

LAKE COUNTY UNITED FALL ASSEMBLY – THIS SUNDAY 3-4:30PM

St. Gregory’s is actively working to cultivate relationships with our neighbors of other faiths, and our membership in Lake County United is one of the most important ways we do that. LCU joins congregations of many faiths to address pressing issues in our community. This Sunday, come and be a part of the conversation about how we as a community can take action on access to mental health services, affordable housing, immigration issues, and more. The assembly is at St. Paul Lutheran Church (824 N. Lewis Ave, Waukegan).
